Those who have someone with special needs in the family will want to save the date for the first Sensory Day of the year at WonderWorks Orlando. The special Sensory Day event will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 9 am until noon. This time will be dedicated to providing guests with a fun and memorable experience, toned down to make it more comfortable for those with special needs. Additionally, WonderWorks is kicking off the year with returning Homeschool Days, a discount Family Fun Day, and more.

Visitors are sure to enjoy a calm and comfortable morning when attending our Sensory Day. We believe edu-tainment should be accessible to all, so we love hosting these sensory-friendly events throughout the year and chatting with the families who utilize them, said Brian Wayne, general manager at WonderWorks Orlando.

Theres no shortage of magic in Orlando this summer! WonderWorks is celebrating the 25^th anniversary of The Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show" throughout July 2025. The show began in 2000 and has become one of the longest-running dinner shows in Orlando. It has been seen by millions of guests from around the world over the years. There will be more opportunities to see this iconic show this summer, with three show times per day (4 pm, 6 pm, and 8 pm) offered from June 30, 2025, through July 6, 2025, plus every Saturday in July 2025.

In fact, according to a 2020 study, older adults who engaged in healthy lifestyle choices such as physical activity, not smoking, not drinking heavily, following a healthy diet, and taking part in mentally stimulating activities had a 60 percent lower risk of developing Alzheimers disease. For people who are already suffering from chronic conditions, setting simple and realistic goals that are manageable with their health challenges is important.

Below are five achievable goals that can help guide you to a healthier routine:

1. Pursue an active lifestyle.

Staying active is an admirable goal to have every year. Adults can engage in activities at home, including aerobic activity, resistance training, yoga, and walks around their neighborhood. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), regular physical activity is vital for healthy aging.

Orlando is a city where magic happens every day, but for my 10-year-old daughter, Emily, this particular day was nothing short of a fairytale. After bravely keeping her recent dental appointment at Lake Lucerne Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry, we decided she deserved a reward that would stay in her heart forever. Thats how we found ourselves at Magic Kingdom, in the heart of Disney World, standing before the iconic Cinderella Castle.

The Start of a Magical Holiday

Emily had been excited for days leading up to this adventure. Dressed in her Elsa-inspired dress, she hummed "Let It Go" all the way to the park. As soon as we stepped into Magic Kingdom, she was awestruck. The sight of Cinderella Castle towering above the bustling theme park took her breath away. Is this what a real princess feels like, Mom? she asked, her eyes wide with wonder.

As a family, wed been to a few attractions before, but nothing compared to the look of pure joy on Emilys face as we walked down Main Street, USA. It was as if every corner of the park whispered family fun and promised memories wed cherish forever.

Living the Princess Dream

Our first stop was, of course, inside Cinderella Castle. Emily had her appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, where she transformed into a princess herself. A glittering tiara sat atop her freshly styled hair, and the sparkle in her eyes matched her sequined dress. She couldnt stop twirling and looking at her reflection in every shiny surface we passed.

Lunch at Cinderellas Royal Table was the next highlight. Emily beamed as she met Cinderella, Belle, and Ariel. She proudly showed off her clean teeth to the princesses, a subtle nod to her earlier dental visit. They reminded her to always keep smilinga tip she took very seriously, given how wide her grin stayed all day.

Family Fun in the Theme Park

After lunch, the real adventure began. From the whimsical Its a Small World ride to the thrilling Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Emily was unstoppable. She squealed with delight as we spun through the Mad Tea Party teacups and danced along to the lively parade that filled the streets with music and color.

As we strolled through the park, we enjoyed some classic Disney snacksMickey-shaped pretzels and refreshing Dole Whip. Emily declared they were princess-approved, and I couldnt argue with that. Everywhere we went, the park seemed to sparkle with magic, making it the ultimate destination for children and their families.

Dreaming of the Next Adventure

As the sun began to set and the castle lit up in dazzling colors, Emily turned to me and said, Mom, this was the best day ever. Can we do something like this again soon? This family-friendly entertainment experience gives everyone a chance to have some mystifying fun, howl with laughter (no full moon required), and make memories together. Guests are also encouraged to dress in costume to add to the festive experience.

New additions to this years show include spooky tricks with a ghostly white handkerchief, a discussion with the audience about their favorite scary movies, mind reading with the help of Dracula, a voodoo doll routine using a lucky volunteer from the audience, and more. The show will be performed five nights per week by fan-favorite magician Tony Brent, donning a new peculiar persona fit for spooky good-times. A cast of ghoulish guest magicians will perform the other two nights of the week showing off new tricks that have been brewing in their own cauldrons.

Tickets to the holiday dinner show include unlimited cheese and pepperoni pizza, salad, dessert, soda, beer, and wine. Halloween-themed cocktails will also be available for purchase for adults. Shows often sell out, so guests should reserve their seats online ahead of time.
